TREASURER - Daren McNeil

I am Daren McNeil, a Sergeant with the Huntington Police Department. Over the past three years I have been assigned to the Detective Bureau. I am a Supervisor in the Property Crimes Unit.  I have been employed by the Huntington Police Department for over 17 years. During that time I have worked as a Patrol Officer, Mobile Response Team member, and as a Traffic Accident Specialist in the Traffic Unit.

I have been a member of The Fraternal Order of Police for over 19 years.  In 1986 I was initiated into St. Albans Lodge #88 while employed with the St. Albans Police Department. I transferred my membership to Gold Star Lodge #65 in 1988 when my employment with the Huntington Police Department began. I have held every board title in Gold Star Lodge including that of President in 1996.  I have been active in the Fraternal Order of Police as a delegate attending every State Conference since 1988. In 1994 I was selected as Trustee to the State Lodge and served in that position for 4 years.  In 1998, I was elected Second Vice President to the State lodge and held that position for 6 Years. In June of 2004, I was elected Treasurer of the State Lodge. It has been my pleasure to serve this great organization over the years. It is my hope that I can continue to serve in the future.
